This business does not have valid license and bond. We found out after the fact and were horrified to learn they had multiple complaints and fines with WA L&I. We would recommend you check the L&I website to ensure this has been corrected before hiring them.

We would have never discovered this if it had not been for their horrible customer service. They were hours late almost every day they arranged to do work. They brought a dog that trampled my flowers, they used my raised garden bed as a shortcut and stepped on vegetables I had growing, and on the last day, the brought a child with them! Be watchful. They were not concerned with respecting our space.

Make sure you do an extremely thorough walk-through after they say the work is done. While we were gathering the logs from the several trees we had cut down, we found they did not cut at least 10 of them all the way through - one piece is still 4' long! We also found large branches that should have been woodchipped. In their quote, they said they would grind down the stumps, which they did not do and refused to do. When we messaged them (within a few days, and upon immediate discovery of the work not quite completed), they were extremely rude.

All around, I would never hire Joel Torrison or Torrison Tree Service for any work, and I would advise anyone considering him to be extremely careful. His bid might save you $100, but it won't save you from the stress and heartache of having to work with him and clean up his mess.
