He was instrumental in bringing da Vinci Robotic Surgery to the community and is actively involved in the robotic surgical committees at both hospitals ensuring high quality care and outcomes. experience in Illinois. Dr. Vasedekas specializes in providing surgery for hernia repair, colorectal surgeries and cholecystectomies.

As the Cancer Liaison Physician to the Commission on Cancer for Palos Hospital he is a leading advocate in providing and ensuring high quality Cancer care for his patients and the community.
