The Up Center has served as a safety net for our community for over 130 years. Today, we help over 10,000 people in Hampton Roads each year. Our mission is to change the trajectory of families from crisis to wholeness. Our vision is a healthy community where families thrive. We protect children, empower people in crisis, maximize independence for those with disabilities and strengthen families through the following programs.
