This will be a long review, but I hope is useful for future buyers.
First, let me go straight to the point and say that I would not recommend anyone to ever work with Sherry, specially if she was involved with the home renovation process. We purchased a home in September 2021 that Sherry had listed as fully renovated. When we met Sherry, she told us that she personally oversaw the renovations and that she was the one who selected the company that did the work. She also stated that she was so involved in the process that she even helped plant some of the plants around the property. Well, within just two months of living in the house we started to see things fall apart. First was the kitchen floor, by month three all of the grout in the kitchen was gone. As soon as it started to warm up, the chimney started to smell like smoke because instead of doing a chimney sweep, they masked the smell. The dishwasher was broken and even though Sherry stated that she hired a person to fix it, it has never worked, so we had to buy a new one. Sherry also lied about the age of the HVAC unit. Two months after moving in, we started to smell gas coming from the HVAC unit and once we got a technician to look at it, we were informed that the date written on it was incorrect. The unit was actually 22 years old. Lastly, Sherry informed us that the pool had the gunite replaced in July 2021. Well, we just had a pool company come to drain and clean the pool today and found out that it is in terrible conditions. The pool cleaners told us that based on the condition of the pool, the gunite has never been replaced and that there are clear signs that the previous owners did not take care of the pool. Bottom line is that Sherry is not a trustworthy person and I would caution anyone who is considering doing business with her.
