Ruff Garage Door Services, LLC

Ruff came to replace my garage door on August 24, 2022. He completed the work same day, and was fully paid as agreed on. The next day being August 25, 2022 (less than 24 hours later) the said garage door dislodged from the hinges and dropped to the floor. I called Mr Ruff and he returned on August 29, 2022 and put some more screws to hold the hinges. However, little did I know that this was the beginning of my nightmare. Few days later the same newly installed garage door dislodged from same hinges and nearly damaged my car and/or cause bodily injury. Again, Mr Ruff was contacted and he came back the third time on September 6, 2022 to put a wooden board to hold down the midline hinges. During same visit, he guaranteed me that everything is finally fixed and there will be no other problems.
Sadly, on January 22, 2023 there was yet another problem with derailment and disintegration of the same garage door. I called him but he decided to have one of his trainee workers call me back this time.
Considering the several visits made by Mr Ruff for a simple garage door installation without getting it right I decided to have a real professional garage door company to do the the work and expeditiously too. There were several errors made by Mr Ruff during the said garage door installation that were pointed out. There were several screws and certain supporting parts that he failed to put in place during earlier installation of the garage door.
Evidently, Mr Ruff has very poor professional knowledge regarding garage door installation and this is dangerous to the consumers. It is my opinion that he should stop parading himself as a garage door professional until he gets the necessary certification for such work.
I am still weighing all other options to make sure that no one will go through the same ordeal.
