The owner, Felecia, knowingly allowed up to 5 dogs to be in our families rental house when only 1 dog was permitted per the lease. The damage done in 18 months is excessive - clawed wood doors, gauged window sills, ruined blinds, dog urine saturated carpet, and repulsive odor that has taken 3 months to extricate. Yet, 3 months after tenants moved out (April 2021), she refuses to refund the mere $1300 damage deposit which barely puts a dent in the costs to repair. She never performed a Move Out Checklist, so we sent documentation and photos. She still refuses to surrender the damage deposit and gives out orders, telling us we need to go after the tenants, as if she has no responsibility as the property manager.
She would perform occasional drivebys, however, NEVER enforced the tenants picking up dog feces which were left on the side of the house, often dozens upon dozens of piles, on a public street at Taft Beach. It was horrific and humiliating to discover our property was so shamefully exploited and unkept, affecting neighbors and passersby.
