.....Give your dog the
CMT advantage...
Come and learn several basic canine massage techniques that you can use daily at home to help bring your dog into greater relaxation, realignment and rejuvenation...the keys to canine wellness and healthy living!

Therapeutic massage is even more beneficial for dogs than it is for humans as dogs are unable to release their own physical and emotional stress.

Canines carry heavy body weight on their lean legs and in their neck area all day long and when they move and run they do so without thought to move about carefully.

Highly active dogs are prone to injury. By stimulating certain muscles to release, you can help your dog move in a more flexible and aligned way causing less injuries as they move about in life walking, running or jumping around.

By stimulating certain dopamine receptors when massaging certain acupressure points, you can help bring relief and relaxation to a dog who is anxious, hyper, overexcited, tense or upset.

By stretching and softening certain muscle areas you can remove tension and stiffness so that your dog relaxes his body and rejuvenates with increased blood circulation and removal of toxins improving his general nutritional uptake and health.

-If your dog is very active, is involved in agility activities, runs around a lot, jumps up and down stairs or in and out of the car, or even goes up and down on the sofa or bed often, then your dog could definitely benefit from therapeutic canine massage daily.
-If your dog gets anxious on a regular basis then your dog is probably a good candidate for regular massage.
-If your dog is elderly and suffers from constant activity on his old joints and muscles then he probably has some hidden injuries and misalignments which massage can help manage.
-Most dogs can benefit from massage just to release their tense muscles from daily activity and from holding their heads and large upper bodies up all day long on their four legs.

This class will teach you three techniques in each of the three areas of relaxation, realignment and rejuvenation on my demonstration dog Regi, a regular daily recipient of CMT.

Over the 2 hour class you will get an opportunity to observe a live dog having a therapeutic massage done on them with all 12 techniques demonstrated.... Next you will get to choose one set of practices to do yourself on your "practice" dog that you can take home to use on your own pup everyday!!! I will have hand outs of each of the three major techniques groups and you can videotape them if you would like.

FYI ...there are over 30 areas massaged when a private session is conducted via a certified canine massage therapist such as myself. This provides the greatest benefit to a dog with extreme needs or who has never had a massage before. An individual private massage session on your dog can provide an initial reset where home massage can provide maintenance from that point forward.

Give your dog the gift of good health, happiness and wellness every day...they deserve it for all the gifts they offer you!
