This is an article produced by The Village Voice about my favorite and most popular photograph called "Moon Over Manhattan" (MOM). This image was taken when I was the only Photographer allowed on the antenna of the World Trade Center. My Father, G-d bless him, is a general practioner who always said laughter was the best medicine. This image has given most people exactly that.
I was hired by Lee Iacocca's Statue of Liberty Ellis Island Foundation to create the AV show to raise money and get corporate sponsors involved. The reason this is titled First Sunset is because this was my first climb into the torch. By the time I finished working on the Statue restoration project I climbed into the torch between 2 to 300 and NEVER saw the skin turn this color again. This image is in the permanent collection of the George Eastman House and ICP, NYC
This images is from a series called "High Nudes," which is coming out as a coffee table in the very near future. The nude model is silhouetted on one of the balls on the Manhattan Bridge with the Brooklyn Bridge behind and downtown Manhattan with the World Trade Centers reflected in The East River.
July 4th, 1986 was the 100th Anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. This is the new torch with the fireworks behind, I set up a remote camera on a pole to create this image.

This image is from a series that I had been working on for 20 years and is called "High Nudes," which is coming out as a coffee table in the very near future. The model is standing on the top of the second section of the Empire State Building's antenna, which is approximately 150 stories high. The four red lights that are seen are the warning lights.
