Named Butler University's orthopedic team physician in 2021, Dr. Bender specializes in disorders of the shoulder and elbow, with a focus on the following:

● Advanced Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery (Rotator Cuff, Labrum, etc.)
● Shoulder and Elbow Fractures
● Throwing Injuries
● Open and Arthroscopic Elbow Surgery
In addition to his work with Butler University, Dr. Bender is the team physician for Park Tudor High School and the team consultant for Indiana State University Athletics. An Indiana native, he and his wife enjoy living and practicing medicine in their home state. They are the proud parents of twin boys and a daughter.
