My multiple experiences working in various inpatient and outpatient settings have helped me have a true and deep understanding of the multi-facets of mental illness, which in turn has helped me to form the foundation and values of my practice.
The summary of my values are as follows:
Relationship: Establish a therapeutic relationship; one that builds rapport on a foundation of trust, and expects equal collaboration in formulating a treatment plan.
Time: having enough time to do an adequate psychiatric assessment, screening and follow-up which will allow enough time for careful consideration of each patient’s specific goals and needs for treatment.
