K&L Custom Ammo

I would not recommend buying this ammo until they get their manufacturing process straightened out. I bought two boxes of .45 ACP and two boxes of .38 Special at a gun show in Redmond earlier in the year. My grandson opened a box yesterday to try out my .38 pistol. About half the rounds had the primers extending past the case head and the cylinder wouldn't turn. Out of 6 rounds, two shot and 4 were misfires. I suspect that they are not cleaning out the primer pockets or not so adequately. I bought the gun new and probably have about 200 rounds shot through it all with new factory ammo over the years and have never had this problem. I will post pictures when I get a chance. One round barely cycled as the cylinder was dragging on the primers of the other rounds and the primer was hit on the edge of the primer. Not good. I will be contacting the firm with this issue and see if they'll give my money back.
09/07/2022: Just had a conversation with Kevin. He's citing "Federal Law" about "not refunding or replacing ammunition". This box was defective. I haven't opened the other boxes and won't. I will get some good pictures and post them. Do not buy from this firm. They have poor quality control.
09/10/2022: Kevin stated that "Federal Law Prohibits the return of guns or ammo". I spoke with an ATF agent and also did web searches. There is no such federal law. Incidentally, the ATF agent said that he couldn't find them licensed so he was going to send a couple of agents to their place of business. I will echo also what others have said. Very poor customer service and was intimidating and rude on the phone. They need to be closed down. I stand by my claim that the ammo is defective as I still have it and can provide proof to anyone this truth. I will post a couple of good pictures when I get the chance. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY'S PRODUCTS.
