Occasionally, we find the story we wanted to tell isn't worth telling. When either of these happens, we can feel stuck or lost. Our sense of meaning can be undermined. Our emotions can further drive our sense of loss until we feel trapped in a spinning vortex of pain. This pain and confusion can happen in our relationships, too. Whatever story we thought we would tell isn't happening, and our relationship seems stuck in destruct mode. Miscommunication, misunderstanding, and misinterpretations become the order of the day.
