Dr. Meagan Fancher chose to open a family-run dental clinic in a charming 1920s brick building they restored to modern-meets-vintage life in the heart of downtown Jacksonville, Texas.

Practicing dentistry since 2015, Dr. Fancher is much more than a general dentist! For every age and stage of patient, all members of the family, she offers general dentistry to specialized care, including teeth cleaning, fillings, sealants, TMJ treatment, dentures, root canal therapy, crowns and dental implants. Three-dimensional scans and digital impressions add precision and high efficiency to every service. Thanks to ongoing training, she can handle complicated cases easily, including a full mouth restoration. Her caring staff includes a hygienist, assistant and reception manager.

And not only does this advanced cosmetic dentist do dental cleaning, she goes above and beyond to offer a host of cosmetic services to keep her patients flashing their smiles brightly, from Invisalign and Clearcorrect clear braces to veneers, inlays, onlays, bridges and ZOOM teeth whitening.

Dr. Fancher works with two types of dentures, traditional style and ones that are stabilized by dental implants for a better outcome.

To help her patients preserve and restore their teeth and smile, she’s networked with other specialists in the area, such as an endodontist, periodontist or oral surgeon. She does offer some periodontal services, including scaling and root planing or deep cleaning to prevent damage to the gums and jawbone.

Providing the best experience is part of her mission, so the family practice offers patients special touches such as weighted blankets, soothing music, noise-cancelling headphones, and scented, warmed towels for their face, in addition to oral sedation to reduce anxiety in people over 20 years of age.

Dr. Fancher is a natural nurturer and has a gift for treating children who may be nervous about their visit. She’s been known to blow up a surgical glove or crack jokes to melt away their anxiety.

Preventive dentistry helps patients retain their healthy teeth and smile. Dr. Fancher and her caring staff always educate the patients about daily dental hygiene, showing them spots where they might be missing when brushing, and instructing them on the best brushing and flossing protocol.

For a med-spa experience, she plans to add an esthetic component to the practice, bringing in an esthetician to offer anti-aging and rejuvenating treatments such as Botox.
