Would never use this provider again. Has no idea what they are doing. Watch out for those B12 shots. Know your " baseline" of your B12 levels before you get a shot every week. Too much B12 CAN be harmful. Better yet, go elsewhere.

I was a patient with Angie and on my first visit i had not had labs done i awhile. When she did my labs, she told me i had kidney disease and hypothyroidism. I was started on meds for my thyroid right away. At that time i was at a great weight. I never joined her weight loss program. I did start taking B12 shots for energy and was told by Angie the shots would help my kidneys, too. As things went on my weight continued to fall off. Every week when i went in for my B12 shot i would ask the nurse to weigh me and the pounds kept falling off. I kept saying " i just dont understand why i am loosing so much weight. Well, somebody knew. I had gone from hypothyroidism to hyperthyroidism and was never told. My medications were never cut back and i was never told i had anemia again, either. I,also, was never told that before you start someone on B12 you do a baseline tests and that is how you determine how much, how many times in a week, or a month you should get a B12 shot. Now i have a new Dr and have found out that my hyperthyroidism could be cause by an autoimmune disorder and that i have way too much B12 in my system,which was also causing weight loss along with the strong dose of thyroid medicine i was given. I am now awaiting an ultra sound of my thyroid to see if i have nodules on my thyroid, which could be indicative of many things including cancer. Asked Angie's office to send my records to another provider months ago and found out that provider never got copies. I called Angie's office when they told me they had sent them and asked them.to send the B12 doses i was given so my new provider could write me and rx so i could give the shots to myself. Misty said she would. How could she, when shr never sent the records to begin with. Angie and all.her signd about serving God is hog wash. She serves the almighty $$$ and will.force you into weight loss one way or another. Too many lies in this office for me. Do yourself a big favor. Stay away! You dont know what is going on with you till it's too late. I am simply skin and bones now. No appetite at all and my thyroid med has been cut in half as i wait to see what damage may have been caused by this woman ,who never said a thing all the times i complained about how much weight i had lost. She knew darn well what was going on. It says so in some of the lab work i showed my new provider. Go ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR HEALTHS SAKE.
