Guardian Angels, a faith-based nonprofit senior care organization, was founded in 1962 to serve Elk River and surrounding communities.

Guardian Angels By The Lake staff engages residents with social, recreational, educational, and spiritual activities and programs that fulfill numerous interests.

The Guardian Angels story began in Elk River, a vibrant community located in the southeast corner of Sherburne County near Highways 10 and 169 and I-94. Elk River also offers easy access to the Twin Cities via its Northstar Commuter Rail Line station. Home to more than 40 parks on 800+ acres, the city boasts multiple golf courses, a quaint downtown area, ample shopping and restaurants, and a dedicated senior center.

We had a Mexican themed Happy Hour. We enjoyed Mariachi music and Mexican themed food and drink. Lots of laughter. Fun was had by all.

Our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who donated blood at our Blood Mobile today. Your acts of kindness save lives and strengthen our community. Special thanks to Memorial Blood Centers for the amazing customer service.

A big shout out to our Youth Apprentices, Izzy and Marissa! We enjoyed celebrating with you this week at Big Lake High School's Signing Day. Thank you for allowing GA to be part of your nursing journey. We can’t wait to see where your paths take you. Exciting times ahead for you both!
