Farmers Insurance - Tim Nelson

THEY PUT ME OUT OF BUSINESS> Got my commercial trucking insurance through Tim's office a month ago. They failed to file the proper paper work with the federal motor carrier safety administration... (something I cannot self report) This caused my commercial operating authority to be revoked. Which completely put me out of business. I have never experienced such incompetents. The people in his office including himself did not even know what the federal safety admin was... yet they called me to get me to buy their commercial insurance.
I Have since offered a below reasonable amount for compensation, I keep getting the run around, so now it looks like I have to sue Tim to get any compensation. I would not recommend doing any business with Tim. I'm now forced to filing complaints with the state insurance board and will be writing to my state representatives. As well I will be reaching out to farmers corporate managers. A lot of work i didn't want to do...
Negligence like this office has is not something you want to deal with, it cost a lot of time and effort to try and make these type of things right. You're better off going with someone else. Hope this helps others from dealing with a mess like this. It's too bad cause Tim seems like a nice guy in his normal day to day.

BUSINESS RESPONSE: Unfortunately insured did not request this endorsement to be added to the policy at inception. This is no different than adding a SR22 on a personal vehicle. However, when we were notified by the insured, we were able to add the endorsement and active within 4 days getting the insured back on the road.
