Liz is an alumna of the George Mason University School of Nursing Doctoral Program (GMU, 2016) with a Master of Science degree in Nursing – Midwifery (MSN) from Wichita State University (WSU, 2005) and a certificate in Nurse-Midwifery from University of Kansas (KU, 2005). Liz is originally from Nairobi, Kenya and enjoys taking long trips back to visit family. Liz is an advocate of the Helping Mothers Survive initiative and while in Kenya, she takes part in informal training sessions with local healthcare professionals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to ensure that no mother dies of preventable causes while bringing life.
