She is passionate about dismantling negative stigmas surrounding mental health care and providing safe spaces for those who have been negatively impacted. Dr. Vastani is passionate about repairing and healing, through a collaborative, trauma-informed approach. She also strives for advocacy inside and outside of the therapeutic space, dedicated to making long-lasting change. She practices cultural humility and growth, by exercising curiosity and an eagerness to learn.
