Women often struggle with whether or not to treat their psychiatric symptoms during pregnancy and postpartum, and get mixed - or even the wrong messages about the safety of meds during pregnancy. Unfortunately, women get taken off their meds or stop their meds prematurely, thinking that it is better for their baby to not be on medications. This is not always true and the issues are much more nuanced.

There is also surprisingly little support for women going through perimenopause, despite it being a high risk time for women to develop mood and anxiety symptoms. I can help.
