ABOUT CORNERSTONE Our Mission Statement To revolutionize the service experience, fulfilling the changing needs of our members and our communities. The Cornerstone Story From the beginning, we were a community. In 1951, a group of employees from the Chrysler Corporation's parts division banded together to start a credit union for their employees: Mo-Par Federal Credit Union. In May 1961, that growing credit union changed its name to Motor Parts Federal Credit Union (MPFCU), and soon had permanent branches in Center Line, MI and Perrysburg, OH.
