CSM Truck Sales

Purchased a 2014 International box truck from CSM Truck Sales and immediately had an engine issue. The truck was diagnosed by a certified International service facility as needing an engine replacement. The owner of CSM (Ben) assured us IN WRITING that the engine replacement would be fully covered and also stated that CSM would "...take responsibility for any costs associated with the repair of this truck."

After deciding the International service facility was "too expensive" Ben informed us that he was having the truck towed back to his facility (from NH to RI) where his mechanic would do the work. He indicated that this would take a couple of weeks.

It is now 6 months later and the truck has not been repaired. We have been in constant contact with Ben trying to get a resolution and, when he finally responds, we receive nothing but excuses and deflection of responsibility. It became obvious several weeks ago that CSM had no intention of repairing the truck, so we finally requested a full refund of our purchase. Ben has refused to do that, as well.

We have extensive documentation (email and text) going back to the day we reported the issue. Unfortunately it looks like we're going to have to go to court to get this resolved.

Strongly recommend against buying a truck from this dealership.
