Brian’s commitment is to deliver individualized, fully integrated nancial solutions that help solve his clients’ needs. Brian holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Finance Investments & Banking and completed his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional designation from Northwestern University. He has earned the professional designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) professional and CHARTERED LIFE UNDERWRITER (CLU®) to be able to better assist his clients. He has been in the financial services and insurance industry since 2001 and with GCG Financial since 2003. Brian’s services include developing appropriate financial strategies for businesses and individuals. Brian assists families in transferring assets and businesses to the next generation. He develops and implements personalized wealth transfer strategies. It is through his teams comprehensive fee-based financial planning, where he acts as his client’s personal “CFO,” where he believes his clients receive the most value. For business owners, he assists in the selection and implementation of various programs including group insurance, buy/sell strategies, 401(k) and non-qualified plans. For his individual and family clients, he helps with their needs in the areas of insurance, investments*, college funding, estate planning and retirement strategies. In addition, Brian works separately as a financial planner if his clients desire a comprehensive fee-based financial plan*. He is a speaker in the medical community. Each year he conducts many financial education workshops for residents, fellows and practicing physicians nationwide. He has been published multiple times in AAOS Now (The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Journal). Brian understands that physicians have very little time to research and keep up to date on many tax advantages and investment options available to them. One of his primary goals is to help physicians navigate successfully through the many financial options available. Brian is an avid baseball fan who played four years in college. Due to the absence of a varsity program while attending UW, he founded the University of Wisconsin’s Baseball Club. That organization has given many students the opportunity to play baseball at a very competitive level nationwide. Brian and his family live in Arlington Heights. Outside of work, he’s dedicated himself to be an incredible dad and husband to his wife and three daughters.
