I chose to specialize in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology because even through college I found had a strong interest in it. I saw many patients who had poorly controlled asthma or allergies, and how it impacted their lives negatively. As I continued my training, I realized this was a field that I really enjoyed, especially the opportunity to have a positive impact on people's lives and to help them feel well enough to do the things they really love.
