The professional and courteous staff seeks to provide the best possible medical care including wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, health and travel certificates, an in-house lab, x-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy, disease-modifying osteoarthritis drugs, pet dental, general and advanced surgery including spay and neuter, ACL reconstruction, TPLO surgery, foreign body removal, exploratory surgery, pain management, and more! Our veterinarians are here six days a week, and we look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Borash Veterinary Clinic has been serving the Peabody community with affordable, quality veterinary care since 1979. Over the years, our mission has always remained the same: to make sure each and every animal in our community receives high-quality care in a welcoming, friendly environment.

Dr. Rick Southgate joined our practice in 2013, and takes a special interest in dermatology and oncology. Before he graduated from Tufts University in 2008, Dr. Southgate worked as a veterinary technician and even traveled to Alaska to work with the Iditarod sled dogs!

Dr. Myles Borash started the Borash Veterinary Clinic in 1979 and is very proud of what his clinic has become! “Doc” takes special interests in soft tissue, orthopedic, and dental surgeries. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, and also does competitive windsurfing!

Meet Amanda Peck, our lovely practice manager! She joined the Borash team when she was only 16 years old, and hasn’t looked back since. Amanda loves interacting with clients, and enjoys spending her free time reading and cuddling with her husband, dog, and two cats.

Not only do we provide care for all sorts of animals, Borash Veterinary Clinic also acts a holding facility for local Animal Control agencies! If you find a missing pet, please call us!

Dr. Borash is assessing this little kittens eye health, another important aspect of our wellness examinations.

We will make sure that every animal that comes through our clinic will leave as healthy and happily as possible.

At the end of each day, nothing makes us happier than knowing we helped the animals of this earth, further supporting the special bond between us and our pets. That is why we do what we do, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
