Armstrong Equine Service is a family owned and operated horse farm. As a whole, the family is interested in almost every aspect of the horse. Dr. Joe B. Armstrong, owner, manages the facility and his primary interest stems from quality performance breeding, ranching and back country horse packing.Dr. Joe B Armstrong received a Ph.D. in Animal Breeding from Colorado State University. He has recently retired as Professor and Horse Extension Specialist from New Mexico State University. Joe is an AQHS judge and has 40 years of experience in private farm management. He has aided and taught horse production techniques around the world in Russian, Europe, Cuba, Japan North and South America.Our facility offers professional quality real round services to accommodate your horses training, breeding temporary stays and or sale.Armstrong Equine Service is the premiere breeding, boarding, training and riding facility in the Southwest. Conveniently located in the heart of the Mesilla Valley.
